It all started with a friend's giveaway, where people could sign up to win prizes and potentially be featured in front of 230,000 entrepreneurs. This pushed the creator to quickly make a lead magnet, turning their deep dive growth levers into a "Growth Levers Library." The experiment? To see if adding a lead magnet to their newsletter would increase signups. Spoiler: It did, by a lot! The new opt-in form jumped from a 0.1% to a 1.5% conversion rate, pulling in way more subscribers in just two weeks.

They now plan to keep this lead magnet and refine it, testing things like headlines, images, and button copy to further boost results. The takeaway? Don’t delay when trying something new – had they implemented this months earlier, they would’ve gained over 5,000 more subscribers.
